• Account information, such as your name, email address, and optional profile photo.
• Your resume, career profile, qualifications, preferences, and other details you choose to add.
• Jobs, searches, alerts, and notification preferences you save.
• Messages you send to our support team.

If you sign in through another account provider, we receive the basic account information you approve. We never receive that account’s password.

• Provide and personalize job search, matching, saved jobs, alerts, and account features.
• Create and maintain the career profile you choose to use.
• Support application features when you ask us to use them.
• Send account messages, security notices, and notifications you enable.
• Respond to support requests, prevent misuse, and improve the reliability of Owl Hired.

We do not sell your personal information or use your resume to train our models.

When you choose AI-assisted resume import, the relevant contents of your resume are processed to create a draft for your review. Automated suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect, and you remain in control of what you save.

Uploading a resume does not by itself send it to an employer. Information is shared for an application only when you direct OwlApply to apply, or when you enable an automated application feature under the settings you select.

We collect limited information about how the service is accessed and used, such as browser information, request activity, and security events. This helps us keep accounts secure, understand service performance, and prevent abuse.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and may remember preferences such as theme, currency, and search settings. We do not currently use advertising cookies.

• With trusted service providers that help us operate Owl Hired, subject to appropriate protections.
• With employers and application websites when you use OwlApply as described above.
• When required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, Owl Hired, or others.
• As part of a business reorganization, with notice and continued protection of your information.

Job and application websites have their own privacy practices. Please review them before submitting an application.

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Some records may be retained for a reasonable period for security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.

• You can update your account and career profile from your profile page.
• You can remove saved jobs, alerts, resumes, and drafts using their available controls.
• You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.
• You can delete your account from account settings.

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong password and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Owl Hired is not intended for children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
